1917 Station Clock
Painted steel with glass lens, 20” x 5” deep. Simple yet elegant, our 1917 Station Clock is a direct descendant of one found at an a Parisian Military Train Depot for American doughboys departing for the front lines. Our rendition features a distressed black painted metal frame with rounded front edge, and glass protection over the 20” face. The dial is copied directly from an original of the day, with bold Arabic numerals and traces of old luminous paint within. Extra large sub dial with operating seconds hand made sure soldiers knew to be at the tracks on time.
